About

DISCIPLINE & BALANCE

Cristiano Rollo has always run, since he was a child, and over time his passion for athletics has led him to increasingly challenging races. After his first marathons, he decided to push himself further, tackling the 100-kilometer Passatore and the Nove Colli, a decisive step towards the toughest challenges: the "seven sisters" of ultramarathons. The Spartathlon, 250 kilometers from Athens to Sparta, has become his battleground. Cristiano has run it three times, each time facing extreme conditions, including tornadoes, heat, and mental and physical challenges. For him, every race is a transformation: every kilometer takes him beyond fatigue, entering a trance-like state where mind and body become one. His preparation is rigorous: 220-300 kilometers a week and a careful diet, but what drives him is his love for running as an inner journey. Discipline and balance are essential, not only for facing physical challenges, but also for maintaining clarity and managing crises during races. For Cristiano, the ultramarathon is a metaphor for life. He's learned to push himself beyond his limits, to build bonds with those who share the effort, and to see every race as a challenge to himself. His motivation is simple: to discover how far he can go, every day, every kilometer.

CRUEL RUN

There are races that end when you cross the finish line. And others that stick with you.

Sometimes you don't notice it right away. It's in the silence of the days afterward that you realize something inside has changed. Every race has left its mark on me. Some on my skin, others invisible. Thoughts that return, sensations that linger, choices that define you. Over time, those marks have become my map. The place where I come from.
My tattoos tell the story of this journey: the effort, the fears, the price to pay.
Running does the rest. Remember that you can't grow without going through pain, and that right there—in the most uncomfortable place—real transformation can begin.

From all this, Cruel Run was born. An identity I first felt inside and that today is taking shape on the outside too. A line that speaks of what remains after every battle, big or small. A sign that speaks not only to me, but to everyone who keeps running even when it hurts. Here you'll find the space dedicated to Cruel Run: t-shirts, graphics, and accessories that express a direct, essential, unapologetic way of experiencing running.

And it's from this same path that my coaching work also stems: helping other athletes give structure, meaning, and continuity to their journey—inside and outside of competition.
